Medinz communication platform replacing GP newsletters in Waitemata and Auckland DHBs

Medinz is a new primary care communications platform now operating across Auckland and Waitemata DHBs and soon to be launched in Counties Manukau. The Medinz platform makes it easier for general practices, community pharmacists and urgent care clinics to receive timely and accurate information from the DHB and other health providers such as the Auckland Regional Public Health Service and Labtests.

The Medinz platform enables primary care practitioners to view and receive critical and urgent non-patient information via their preferred channel (e.g. email or text message).

It also provides access to more routine messages that will directly assist in the care of patients. Medinz routine messages are collated and sent once a week, via email and will now replace the Auckland and Waitemata DHBs Primary Care Newsletter, which has been discontinued.
