Product Owner and Operations Manager
Sam leads Healthpoint’s technology roadmap, ensuring our digital platforms deliver innovative, accessible solutions for practitioners, patients, and communities. With expertise in systems analysis, agile delivery, and healthcare interoperability, Sam drives projects such as appointment booking enhancements, SNOMED CT and HL7® FHIR® integration, and AI-powered service navigation.
In her downtime, Sam enjoys spending time with her partner and two sons exploring the outdoors. Whether kayaking, biking, fishing, or relaxing by the water, she loves making the most of New Zealand’s natural beauty. Sam also enjoys traveling, hosting a good BBQ, and expressing creativity through painting.
Sam’s qualifications: BSc Biological Sciences; PGDip Health Science (Medical Sciences); APMG Agile Project Management (Foundation & Practitioner); HL7® FHIR® Proficient.
